Today Chesvan 7 marks the anniversary of the day in 1989 I stood in the line thanks to the wonderful shluchim Rabbi and Mina Gopin or Hartford Ct for dollars from the Rebbe z”l. At the time I had in mind another request and aliyah did not enter my mind at all. But the Rebbe with his vision gave me two dollars in retrospect for myself and my husband and the parsha was this week’s Lech Lecha- the parsha deemed the aliyah parsha!
