Is that R’ Shalom Posner immediately behind the Rebbie when in the very first “picture”
Please don’t take this in a negative way but I think you missed the entire point. This is a message for all Jewish children no matter which camp they’re in. The fact that the Rebbe camp, rather than speaking in 770, stresses the importance even more. It’s not about which camp is better or worse…
Thanks for posting.
thanx for posting such a wonderful video with such a powerful lesson!
Whereas Gan Yisroel, NY is no longer at the location that the Rebbe visited, Camp Emunah is still at the very same location where the Rebbe visited twice and there is a photo proudly hanging in the camp dining room of the Rebbe with Rabbi Hecht on the front porch speaking to campers.
The spliced in pictures of the campers are from the later 60’s based on the hair styles and eyeglasses frames. I have some color film that my father made of the Rebbe coming to camp in 1960 where you see the campers. We all wore special tee shirts and Yarmulkas for the occasion and had much shorter hair styles as was usual in 1960. Anyway, thanks for the film clip to JEM and COL
