Despite attempts by some officials not to allow a public Menorah lighting in Santa Cruz, California, Shliach Rabbi Yochanan Friedman didn’t let the red tape stop the Chanukah celebration.
With hundreds showing up to witness the lighting of the menorah in the very hip downtown area of Santa Cruz, it was a triumph of light.
The menorah lighting was followed by a concert featuring 8th Day.
“The spirit of tonight will break boundaries and give us all great positive inspiration moving forward,” said Rabbi Friedman.
Rabbi Friedman is incredible he has so much knowledge, what he and his wife accomplished there nobody could have done
very original! Like rava mehemna, must people dont get how brilliant it is.
