An unmarked car with two NYPD police officers have been seen at work giving out hundreds of tickets in the Crown Heights neighborhood in recent weeks.
Residents have reported being pulled over by the undercover vehicle on East New York Avenue between Kingston and Brooklyn Avenues, near Bais Rivkah school, where a new 15 mile per hour speed limit for a school zone has recently been set.
“Beware – they are sitting and waiting in an undercover car,” a COLlive reader informed, “and people have not been seeing it, or the 15 mile per hour sign. They are pulling people over non-stop,” he said. “You know that it can ruin a person’s day when they get pulled over. I want people to be informed.”
Why do we have a whole discussion and make it so personal, when somebody is giving us a friendly warning. Take the advice and gei veiter, move on.
What about when the unmarked police car swerves and makes a fast illegal U-turn in a busy intersection just to chase after someone to give a ticket for not wearing a seat belt. How safe is that? I have see this car do that on multiple occasions.
Seems like your a cop making a comment. Its obvious Mcnab is looking to issue tickets and not from a safety point. Its a no brained.
Thank you officer McNab for keeping our children safe!!!
I am very pleased with this and hope she catches and tickets each of us that drive over the speed limit here or endanger others lives period end of story.
Someone should give her a Danish and a cup of coffee.
she cant give tickets
the cars unmarked and its entrapment
“She can only write tickets if you speed or brake the law – Don not speed or brake the law and you wont get a ticket very simple”. Ever heard the expression: “saying something is always easier than actually doing it?” What happens if you break the law because of a valid reason and you still get a ticket? Would you say it’s very simple? I don’t think so. Yes i agree if you break the law you deserve a ticket, however, there are those who break the law for valid reasons and don’t deserve to get a ticket.
she used to be on lefferts pulling over those who made a right turn but it ended up being more nisht unzere being pulled over so she found a better spot to pull over jews so dont give her this taste
I am not exactly sure what police unit so said officer “McNab” (I.E. Traffic, gangs, Patrol, school, E.S.U. ect.) but in most jurisdictions the use of an unmarked or “undercover” car is legal. Now, for conversation sake let’s say that the cops in that “crown vic” are from international affairs division, then you can ask what are they doing giving tickets…but from the picture above it looks like a regular beat cop in a car and they just happen to be in an undercover or unmarked Patrol car. I know that in Los Angeles where I live, the LAPD uses… Read more »
I witnessed yesterday on Montgomery corner Kingston, a very fancy SUV driven by a member of Anash hit a young girl as she was crossing Kingston towards Albany. The girl had the right of way, but the driver didn’t even bother looking to see if a child (or anybody else) was crossing the street, he just kept turning from Montgomery onto Kingston when the light changed for him, and he just hit the child. Luckily the child wasn’t really hurt (apparently) so she just ran off. The driver didn’t even have the decency of stopping his car to check on… Read more »
How would u like to get a ticked? Don’t justify those guys!
Tell ppl to get off their phones, drive carefully, slowly especially on the turns. Aren’t there enough tragedies without us creating them
Move to a distant Australian Mountain Range no tickets nobody gets hurt…..

What’s your problem? Why do you have a talk negative? Comment one was just saying the police officer is from Crown Heights and has nothing better to do than to write tickets. #1 didn’t say she’s not doing her job or she’s a bad person. If you think out of the box instead of thinking inside the box, maybe you’ll understand. Saying what someone does for a living, and where they are from, doesn’t mean they aren’t doing their job.
To number 2 we are not talking about that right turn.
please stop passing busses with there flashing lights
It’s more like she wants to fill her quota so she can get more privileges and vacation days. If you know anything about cops who write tickets, they get special privileges vs any other police out on the field. Tickets in NYC is a priority, so she would write anyone for any excuse to make herself look good. Of course the law is the law, but at the same time ahchazir is ahchazir
Bais Rivkah is not East NY between Kingston and Brooklyn.
Is it legal to pull over someone in an undercover car
She is doing her job and by the way so many people including anash make right turns every morning by Bais Rivkah almost hitting children they are great for ticketing. People must learn near a school u must obey the rules!!!
It’s a blonde female police officer Lara McNab from the 71 Precinct. She has nothing better to do than write tickets a whole day.
