As the month of Tishrei came to a close, the Vaad Talmidei HaTemimim organized a “Tzeischem L’Shalom” gathering for the visiting talmidim hashluchim before their return to Eretz Yisroel, strengthened and uplifted from the month spent near the Rebbe’s daled amos.
Among those who addressed the gathering were Rabbi Moshe Gourarie, Shliach of the Rebbe to New Jersey; Rabbi Leima Wilhelm, Mashpia in Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim Morristown; Rabbi Zusha Winner, Rosh Yeshiva of Chovevei Torah and Shliach of the Rebbe to Brighton Beach; and Rabbi Shlomo Cunin, the Rebbe’s Head Shliach to the West Coast.
A special multimedia presentation, prepared exclusively for the event, was screened during the program. It focused on the essential mission of every bochur temimim — to dedicate themselves to Torah study, particularly the study of the Rebbe’s teachings.
The presentation featured words of inspiration from Rabbi Yaakov Goldschmidt, senior Mashpia at the Central Tomchei Tmimim Yeshiva in Eretz HaKodesh; Rabbi Asher Farkash, Mashpia in the Tomchei Tmimim Yeshiva of Buenos Aires; and Rabbi Shmuel Shlomo Lipschitz, Rosh Mesivta and Mashpia in the Tomchei Tmimim Yeshiva of Migdal HaEmek.
