UPDATE, 10:45 pm: Ahavas Chesed emailed COLlive.com that many offers to assist have come in, and the situation has been resolved.
THIS IS A QUOTE FROM THE MOTHER!
“but the situation was not resolved. perhaps help me find babysitters to interview if you know any. Ask people to send meals. I think I need to hire a full time person in the house that can keep it tidy and help me w. the baby. I am not able to move very well. We are expecting big miracles!”

How often does a mother get to nurse someone else’s child?
What a huge mitzva!!
Not all babies can tolerate formula – MANY babies just throw up after being fed formula. I’m sure they thought that may be an option – and for obvious reasons, its is Not.
My wife called to offer, but was told they already have enough mothers to do this.
Thank you for the response the phone is ringing off the hook with the many women willing to assist, But Boruch Hashem everything is taken care of./ Thanks again to all the women of chesed who have responded to our call for help.
can we help in another way like making suppers for the person taking in these kids or helping with laundry or anything else? if we just dont have space?
then I could take the baby..
BH
Formula is not a proper substitute to mother’s milk. It constipates, and very often causes more problems in the baby’s system than it does to help them.
I wish my supply were big enough to help I would gladly nurse the newborn.
I know the family – and the kids are delicious!!
