A group of dedicated women are working to plan the upcoming 54th N’shei Chabad Winter Retreat in Toronto, Ontario.
Dozens of women have volunteered their time and talent to make this project a success, coordinators said.
“What is unique about this convention is that it is a joint venture of the many Chabad communities in Toronto,” says Shlucha Mrs. Goldie Plotkin, one of the coordinators of the event. “We have worked and planned with such beautiful achdus, and we are seeing immense hatzlocha as a result.”
The convention will take place this weekend, Rosh Chodesh Kislev-Kislev 3, 5776, Nov 13-15, 2015.
The exciting program includes world renowned presenters, including scholar-in-residence Rabbi Yosef Y. Jacobson, Rabbi Mendel Kaplan, Miryam Swerdlov, Goldie Plotkin, Sara Chana Radcliffe, and many more.
Participants will enjoy inspirational workshops on a wide variety of topics, fine dining, beautiful boutiques and spa options, at the luxurious Hilton Toronto/Markham Suites Conference Centre and Spa.
With a theme that focuses on Jewish Women United – Communities Ignited, the three days of the Convention will include pre-Shabbos activities and workshops, a beautiful and uplifting Shabbos program, a lovely Melava Malka, and a final day of learning and activities on Sunday.
Highlights include fascinating workshops on topics ranging from Chassidus and Kabballah, education and child rearing, mysticism and Mikvah to women’s health and personal relationships; personal stories of inspiration; a joyous Chassidic Farbrengen; a gala Melave Malka; a grand Sunday Banquet at noon; and joyous music and dance.
