No community is completely free from child abusers, but some communities are implementing appropriate ways to deal with hem. Join Orthodox schools and synagogues around the country for a week dedicated to learning ways to keep our children safe from those who might hurt them.
In honor of the National Jewish Week for the Prevention of Child Abuse, a Seminar is being sponsored by the Jewish Board of Advocates for Children (JBAC) and Co-Sponsored by the Union of Orthodox Congregations of America (OU), National Council of Young Israel, Maimonodies Medical Center, Rabbinical Council of America (RCA), the Vaad Harabonim of Flatbush, J-Safe Jewish Institute Supporting an Abuse Free Environment, and Rabbinical Alliance of America (Igud Horabbonim).
The Seminar will be held at B’nai Israel of Linden Heights, 4502 Ninth Avenue (at 46th Street), Brooklyn, NY, 7:00 pm. Men and women (separate seating) are invited and encouraged to participate.
