A male thief who stole pricy wigs from a sheitel macher on Fort Hamilton Parkway and 46th Street in Brooklyn, NY, on Monday afternoon was caught shortly after walking off with his loot.
Volunteers of the Boro Park Shomrim Patrol were swift in responding to the call about the theft of 4 wigs worth an estimated $8,000, BoroPark24.com reported.
Shomrim immediately arrived on the scene to download the store’s camera footage to get a description of the perpetrator before setting out to search the area. Within minutes, they recognized and found the thief on 46th Street.
They alerted the New York Police Department who arrested the perpetrator. Shomrim were able to recover all four sheitels, and returned them to their owner.
