Episode #32: Duddy Shagalov – “It’s all about creating a system”
David (Duddy) Shagalov is the founder of Liger Electronics, the umbrella name for his online-based company that resells and manufactures their own brands. From a short stint in China as a bochur, Duddy transformed his expertise in importing from China into a full-time career.
Together with his two partners, Ariel Mangami and Menachem Wolf, Duddy has become a mega player in the e-commerce industry. He also created and manufactures items for his five unique brands: Liger, which is the consumer electronics brand; Muvita, for kitchen and home appliances; Eravino, for wine accessories; Outdoor Nation, for outdoor tactical supplies; and Astro Drone, a drone manufacturing company.
A serial entrepreneur, Duddy recently launched a sukkah website and is the owner of Bison & Bourbon, a kosher restaurant in Brooklyn and just this year opening “Noga,” the first kosher restaurant to return to the Lower East Side.
