After his last talk on parenting in Crown Heights, there have been many requests for therapist Shimon Russell to give a follow up address.
Neshamos.org has announced that renowned therapist Shimon Russell will be spending the better part of his weekend in Crown Heights. He will be meeting with community leaders, therapists, Shluchos and also be addressing the community at a public event on Sunday evening.
Come hear Rabbi Russel discuss how to attain a harmonious atmosphere at home to foster a sense of belonging in children and boost their resilience. Studies show that a safe home environment can often counteract outside influences, preventing the descent of children into addictions and harmful behaviors.
Russell, LCSW, hailing from Israel with decades of experience working with teens and their families, will be sharing from his personal and professional experience how one can make small changes in the family life with outsized results.
This talk at the Lubavitcher Yeshiva on Crown Street is geared for parents and parents to be of all ages. It is never too early or too late to strengthen a family’s foundation.
The event will be broadcast on COLlive.com beginning 8:30pm – 10:00pm.

Wow thank you so much! These videos were life Changing!
Thumbs up

Because there is little education around this, people can take this info the wrong way and be victimized because of if. One spouse may behave abusively and the other spouse, trying to be a good spouse may indeed put the others needs before their own needs… Read more »

Rabbi Russell was phenomenal!! So on the mark! Please excuse us for not being there, as perhaps the audience was not as large as you may have imagined, but it was simply because we all watched it on the live feed and thank you for that! You gave us all a personal gift and bestowed us with a community gift by having Rabbi Russell share with us pearls of wisdom. Actually, they’re diamonds! Sholom Bayis ain’t easy- yet, Reb Shimon divided it up in 4 intimacies and their benefits which only made me want to work harder at it. Yaasher… Read more »
