100 people gathered for a Chanukah celebration in Surrey, BC, joined by both Mayor Whatts and Mayor Baldwin and local councilmen.
The Menorah lighting was organized by Shluchim Rabbi Falik and Simie Schtroks.
Rabbi Falik Schtroks addressed the crowd, followed by both Mayors and Dean Donnely brought greetings on behalf of the White Rock/S.Surrey JCC.
Cantor Yakov Orzech lit the Menorah, followed by entertainment, live music by Nachman Schtroks, delicious refreshments and children’s food craft.
The highlight of the event was the Center For Judaism’s famous annual “Let’s Make A Chanuka Deal” grand Chanukah game with Shlucha Simie Schtroks.

And they picked the best musician in the whole Surry
