The 2025 TCS New York City Marathon takes over the city this Sunday, November 2, with several major roads and bridges closed across the five boroughs.
Drivers should expect heavy traffic, and race organizers recommend fans and runners take mass transit.
Here’s the official start times for the marathon on Sunday, Nov. 2:
8:00 a.m. – Men’s Professional Wheelchair Division
8:02 a.m. – Women’s Professional Wheelchair Division
8:22 a.m. – Handcycle Category and Select Athletes with Disabilities
8:35 a.m. – Professional Women’s Open Division
9:05 a.m. – Professional Men’s Open Division
9:10 a.m. – Wave 1
9:45 a.m. – Wave 2
10:20 a.m. – Wave 3
10:55 a.m. – Wave 4
11:30 a.m. – Wave 5
Dozens of roads will be closed across the city Sunday, along with five bridges that connect the boroughs.

you should be studying Torah in marathon style instead. Go to your house, sit on your bicycle machine or elliptical or treadmill, and listen to Torah lectures or read Torah books for marathon amount of time instead. That is the purpose of the world, not running marathons. Thank you.
Thats like saying why are you writing on COL you should be learning or davening, and ill have you know that running only helps a person learn torah, it clears the mind, and seeing frum jews in these running events can only inspire!!
bicycle and elliptical and treadmill is because someone would probably say that exercise is important, but it would be just as good to sit on your couch and study Torah.
