The Annual Bikur Cholim of Crown Heights Breakfast for women will be taking place on Sunday, March 15, and is promising to be an enjoyable and engaging event.
Celebrating the 114th birthday of Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka, wife of the Rebbe, the breakfast will honor the great devotion and dedication of the wives of Crown Heights Hatzalah Members, who support their husbands in all their voluntary work.
The morning will feature:
* A unique hands-on demo: “The Joy of Pickling” with Mrs. Shifra Klein, Editor in Chief and Culinary Artist from Joy of Josher Magazine.
* Greetings from esteemed and noteworthy volunteers: Mrs. Malkie Eckhaus and Mrs. Gitty Rosenfeld, and special wishes from Mrs. Estee Menkes.
It will also include a delicious breakfast, with an array of baked goods, cheese platters, artisanal butters, refreshing beverages, hearty sandwiches, beautiful desserts and more, all being prepared and set up by volunteers and the talented and special one-of-a-kind Chanie Greenbaum.
Bikur Cholim of Crown Heights continues to stand at the forefront, offering help and support to the families in our communitywhose relatives are unfortunately suffering from serious and life-threatening illnesses. Bikur Cholim is making a difference on a daily basis in every way they can in a most special, confidential and warm way.
Bikur Cholim and their dedicated volunteers are honored to carry the name of the Rebbetzin as the Rebetzin Chaya Mushka Bikur Cholim – one which the Rebbe was so proud to have carrying on her name.
Bikur Cholim is a volunteer-based organization that is able to do its work thanks entirely to the incredible volunteers. You too can get involved by emailing [email protected].
