Sukkah Hopping by Limo

As part of Chabad of Markham’s teen program, junior Shliach Levi Plotkin Nachman Forer of Chabad Markham, who farbrenged with the teens about the importance of mesires nefesh and how every Jew, even the ones who live in Toronto, can practice mesires nefesh by coming to Shul more often, joining us for Simchas Torah, and by joining Levi at his Yeshiva once in a while.

The fabrengen was a very moving experience for the boys. As Dylan Itzikowitz expressed, “This has been the most amazing experience of my life.”

They then went to join the Simchas bais hashoeiva which took place at Chabad Gate, Thornhill. The teens enjoyed this part of the program immensely, as they danced around with many other Chabad teenagers their age.

The teens then hopped over to the Plotkin’s sukkah where they farbrenged with Rabbi Yudi Zarchi. The boys had the opportunity to pose questions on yiddishkeit that were important to them. The boys sang many moving nigunnim and took upon themselves new resolutions to continue to spread their Yiddishkeit to their families and friends.

The boys thanked Levi for organizing this incredible evening and begged him to continue such monthly events when he has time off of Yeshiva.
