The DOT is milling and repaving some Crown Heights roads this week. No Parking signs in the neighborhood informed that vehicles will be towed at 6 AM on the day of the road repair.
Residents should move their cars the night before to avoid towing.
Tomorrow, Monday, there is no parking on Crown Street from Albany Avenue until Nostrand Avenue.
The closure of this street may cause major gridlock in the Crown Heights neighborhood, residents are advised to walk and avoid driving if they can.
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, there is no parking on Empire Boulevard from Troy Avenue in Crown Heights until East 91st Street in Remsen Village.
Thursday and Friday on New York Avenue from Empire Boulevard until Clarkson Avenue in South Crown Heights.

Summer time is obviously best for road and street work, we tried talking to our elected officials but it is what it is. It’s a lost battle with NYC and those that are in elected office representing CH on a city and state level. There’s No “Yiddishe Kop/Seichel” by their offices.
In some positive news for tomorrow’s expected CH Gridlock. Alternate Side Parking (ASP) is suspended tomorrow, Monday, across NYC. So that should help a little.

Don’t let this distract you from the fact that they spent the entire simchas Torah morning outside 770 urgently drilling with jackhammers, disturbing everyone who was davening outside, just so they can install a red light camera (to take more of your money).
There are 2 completely different issues at play here. 1. NYC (Adams) has socialist policies. (Ie more speed cameras instead of speed bumps and speed bumps) 2. There’s a complete disconnect between Eric Adams administration, your local elected officials (councilwoman, assemblyman & state senator) with CH. What do u do if you expect a delivery tomorrow?
If you live on the affected area of Crown Street, you don’t have to do anything. You simply receive a notice from the delivery service that they had no access, so delivery will be attempted again the next day.
