    Why?

Does Merkos have so much money or do they merely have zero confidence in south african bochurim? There are many south african bochurim quite capable of doing the shlichus, which would save merkos at least $2500 on the tickets from NY to South Africa. I think it makes a lot of sense.

    Shlomo !Great Job

Rabbi Bento ( as we friends affectionately know him as ) is a great man and a special shliach. He knows exactly what he is doing and he is very matzliach in all his projects!
He is turning over Africa like nobody can and it is all in the zchus of his hiskashrus and ibergegebenkeit to the Rebbe and his Shlichus!!

Why does a person need to criticize good work ..does it really matter who went and why other’s did not go.?? The point is NO ONE other than Chabad will go just for a few Jewish souls. I am grateful that they are here and we should all be simply grateful and stop all the digging up of who where why when how and whatever else your little minds can come up with…G-d all of US

With all due respect and I dont like to be labeled as being critical, when the point being made is one of common sense. The money that pays for the tickets comes form donors, surely common sense must play some part in how to use the money wisely. If there are bochurim already in South Africa why spend the money needlessly. Or is it a case of letting some guys travel the world?
    A gut moied to all

there are many chassidishe SA bochurim that can be selected for the job, if you have ever been on MS or been to their office you can understand that there needs to be allitle order regarding Merkos Shlichus. with all due respect.
