Last year, in celebration of the 123rd birthday of Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka, Machne Israel-Lubavitch commissioned the writing of a new Sefer Torah in her honor.
The Torah is set to be completed with a festive siyum on the Rebbetzin’s 124th birthday, the 25th of Adar.
Machne Israel is inviting everyone to join in this special Siyum Sefer Torah by purchasing a letter, word, verse, chapter, parsha, or Chumash in this historic Torah.
“This unique Torah will appropriately be housed in the Rebbetzin’s home, at 1304 President Street, and will be used on the various occasions during the year when a minyan is held in the Rebbe and Rebbetzin’s home,” said Rabbi Yehuda Krinsky. “All the proceeds from the purchase of the letters will benefit Keren Hachomesh—the Rebbe’s everlasting tribute to the Rebbetzin—which primarily benefits women and girls.”
“I urge everyone to join in the special zechus of purchasing letters in a Sefer Torah wholly dedicated to the Rebbetzin and to Keren Hachomesh.”
