Last night the Soul Words House, located just a short walk from the Rebbe’s Ohel, buzzed with meaningful discussion as renowned teacher and speaker Rabbi Shais Taub was joined by Tzipora Grodko, host of the popular “Stories of Hope” podcast, for an insightful and compassionate exploration of the realities of matchmaking within the community.
Throughout the two-hour program, a wide range of questions was addressed, from balancing trust in Hashem (Bitachon) with effort (Hishtadlus) to dealing with feelings of burnout and societal pressures. The conversation tackled tough subjects with honesty and sensitivity, providing much-needed comfort and validation to those navigating the complexities of finding a life partner.
A raffle was held to gift a lucky participant with Sichos in English three-volume set of “Eternal Joy,” a collection of the Rebbe’s advice on dating and marriage.
Following the livestream, singer Malky Taub sang a new song about Shidduchim written by her uncle Dovid Taub.
Participants were invited to submit names of singles for prayer and these names will be brought to the Rebbe’s Ohel for blessings in honor of Tu b’Av. To submit names of singles visit SoulWords.org/TuBav5785.

Why does someone feel the need at a simcha to highlight that someone there is currently lacking that? They know it well… Read more »
I think the whole idea of trusting God’s plan (as explained in להשכילכה בינה) is all regarding the past, but when it comes to the future, the Rebbe explains that Bitachon means trusting that ה’ will fulfill your plans, and you’re allowed to have plans, and you’re meant to have plans trusting and being certain that Hashem will provide with revealed good.
Excited to listen to the recording and recommend listening to Tzipporah’s weekly podcast!
