24 Jewish children participated in Chabad of Paraguay’s winter camp this past week, enjoying a dose of Judaism.
While Asuncion is the country’s capital and largest city, with 2.8 million inhabitants, only 300 Jewish families reside there.
Its Jewish community (and Paraguay itself) tends to be overshadowed by the neighboring Argentina and Brazil.
But, as Chabad prides itself, every Jewish population deserves to live Jewishly and so the local Shluchim Rabbi Levi Feigelstock and his wife Miriam organized this small, yet important, camp.
They were assisted by Eliahu and Shifra Salom.
The two week camp, filled with learning and games, was led by counselors Nisim and Chaya Forma.
