Shots were heard on Thursday morning at about 10:30 AM on Eastern Parkway near Kingston Avenue in Crown Heights.
Passersby reported hearing 4 consecutive shots, which were fired from a passing vehicle, which then sped off.
There were no injuries reported.
Police are currently on the scene and investigating the incident.
Kingston Avenue north of Eastern Parkway has been closed off to traffic while the investigation is underway.
Update: According to an NYPD source, the shots were fired from one car into another car, as both cars traveled along Eastern Parkway.
It appears that no-one was hit by the shots.
One car turned onto Lincoln Pl. and the occupants abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot. The other vehicle continued up Kingston Ave.
Police do not believe that anyone on the street was a target.

A call to Action, All our Young Chevra, Older Mature Bocherim & Yungerleit in CH need to be highly encouraged to step up to the plate, to get involved a little & to be active to a extent in helping their community, its a real shame that there are merely a few dozen active amazing concerned members of our community in Shmira/Shomrim,. Crime is rising in every category daily, The streets are not safe, Each day has more and more shootings in Brooklyn & specifically in CH, and very dangerously many many shootings in the Center of CH over the last few months, something that CH has not experienced since the 1970’s There are 2 types of Neighborhoods throughout NYC. Lately there were Tons of Speed Cameras installed all over Eastern Parkway, Very Likely this Vehicle while Fleeing the Scene of the Shooting was Speeding, and if the vehicle was speed which is more than likely that it was then they probably got a Speed Camera Ticket which has their License Plate Captured, If someone involved in security in CH can please notify the 77th / 71st Pcts that it may be a good idea to request the Pictures of the Plates taken from the Speed Cameras around the incident time frame from both directions from Eastern Parkway from a… Read more »

So someone shot off a gun, as if anyone has a solution to that happening. Lol. Maybe give some 17 year olds radios, that will stop them.
They were “mostly peaceful” shots. Like the “mostly peaceful” arson and looting of this past summer, and likely by the same type of people. After all, certain commenters here assure us that they’re only “protesting injustice.”
Cops are literally on the corner there – one car guarding 770 and the other across from the museum. And you are telling me – these cops couldn’t catch the culprit?! Maybe de Blasio told the cops to let them vent, who knows?!
unfortunately the south side of eastern parkway is the 71st precinct the north side of eastern parkway is the 77th precinct.since the shooting took place on the north side of eastern parkway which is the 77th precinct the police by 770 which is the 71st are not going to respond to it.they should respond to it because they saw it but they won,t because it,s a different precinct.
I am here to be the “woke” person who leaves a comment saying how we are racist for wanting to capture the shooter, and how it’s probably donald trump’s fault.
