R’ Shmuel Yitzchok HaCohen Stettin, an elder member of the Montreal Jewish community, passed away on 7 Shevat, 5774.
He is survived by his sons, Yaakov Stettin and Yossi Stettin.
The levaya took place on Wednesday, in Montreal.
The Shiva is taking place through Tuesday morning, at 838 Jefferson St., Woodmere, NY.

Our old MOntreal memories.Reb Shmuel Stetin was a real choshuver, ehrlicher Yid-of the finest caliber.He was a son in law of Reb Yitchok Goldin.His wife Sora ah, and Reb Shmuel had exemplary Kibbud Eim.I remember them with their mother,and mother in law,walking ,with such respect and love.
This is a loss of a very special choshuver yid.
