Shmuel Shadmi, a Chabad bochur who was the son of the Shluchim in Raanana, Israel, passed away on Thursday, 22 Tammuz, 5778.
He was 23.
Shmuel had been assisting his parents Rabbi Eliyahu and Sima Shadmi who are the directors of Chabad in Raanana, a city in the heart of the southern Sharon Plain of the Central District of Israel.
A half a year ago, he was on his way to give a ride to one of their guests before Shabbos. When the guest noticed Shmuel hadn’t arrived, he called his parents.
After a frantic search, police notified the family that Shmuel had been critically injured in a car accident and was rushed to the Beilinson Hospital in Petach Tikva.
Tragically, Shmuel has been in a coma ever since. Tehillin was said and Mitzvos were done in his merit around Israel and the world.
He is survived by his parents, family, friends and community.
Baruch Dayan Haemes: Shmuel Refael ben Eliyahu.
