A crowd of family members, neighbors, business acquaintances and many friends commemorated the Shloshim – 30 days since the untimely passing of R’ Shneur Hirsch, a young husband and father from Crown Heights at the age of 39.
Gathered at the Lubavitch Yeshiva hall, participants helped writing the first letters in a new Sefer Torah that will be dedicated to his memory and recited Mishnayos for his neshama.
Hirsch co-founded Modway Furniture, a successful furniture manufacturing company, and was known for his warmth and kindness. He was a big baal Tzedakah, and a generous donor to many causes, including Chinuch and Chabad centers.
Sharing memories of his life were relatives and classmates. Renowned lecturer Rabbi Shais Taub shared words of inspiration.
