So we should all get tested no?

November 13, 2020 1:50 pm

It’s time to move to South Dakota or Wyoming.

If the left steals this election, these States are no longer United and better to go to one that believes in liberty.

These nihilists will kill the world to stop the spread of a virus.

Some of those states you mention, especially South Dakota, have a roaring coronavirus problem right now, over 30% infection rate, the hospitals no longer have ICU beds. In some of those states they are bringing in refrigerated trucks as the morgues have run out of room, please look at the news from Texas. In case you haven’t noticed, across the nation we now have the largest number of people dying ever from coronavirus, much worse than in April, and the largest number of hospitalizations we have ever had. It is going to get much worse as now we are in… Read more »

You are right, but please keep in mind that immunity to all coronaviruses–including this new one–always lasts for a limited time period. This is true for all coronaviruses. We are definitely not “done” with this forever, although it does appear that many of us in CH still have immunity from round one. Hopefully like all pandemics this will die down in time. Not everyone is “done”–I have not had it, I am older and vulnerable, and I and several family members nad friends have not had it, and still have to be extremely, extremely careful. Also, why doesn’t DeBlasio close… Read more »

So not true. Maybe 40 percent of our community had it. Why are you saying untruths? There are so many from our community who have covid right now.

You know how many moved out?

Supposedly close to 200 families left CH this summer.
I don’t know if that number is true but I personally know several that left both CH and LA to move to Baltimore, FL, and TX.

Why There?

First of all South Dakota and Wyoming have no sport teams. And without sports who knows what other kinds of narishkeit the kids will get caught up in. Better to deal with the left then our Yetzer Harah.

Kids Lives Matter
Start a week-long citywide demonstration
Flood the streets with the kids of NY

November 13, 2020 2:18 pm

I’ll host my daughter’s class (all 27 of them!) at my home 🏡. With no masks to suffocate the kids and no plastic dividers to get injured from. Come catch me Mr mayor.

Get out, stop wasting another minute of your life. Get a big house for so much less, an actual real community and normal elected officials in so many other places.

The “dreaded ” online learning is terrible when its YOUR children who are forcibly removed from in person Chinuch . Many of you didn’t think twice about it starting July 2019 when families who utilized vaccine choice and exercised their parental rights children were barred from Yeshiva day camps then school that following Fall, Many who thought this dracion measure unconstitutional law was a great idea relied on the identical “expert opinions ” not questioning the data, science or even basic logic behind it who are shutting down the after NOW. Glad you felt so excited about vaccines because flu,… Read more »

Please don't close
November 13, 2020 3:07 pm

I’m sorry. This communist dictator called deblasio should not close our schools. Maybe we will have to do make shift learning in person. But please don’t close our schools! This is absolutely rediculous. And I never had covid, and don’t want to get it. BUT my kids need real schools. Period

All you had to do
November 13, 2020 3:24 pm

was wear a dang mask and stop having simchos if you dreaded this outcome so much.

If you believe this lie is true ask the blind man he saw it too.

If you’re feeling sick stay home. If you are certain you have covid, what it the test doing for you? There is no medication you can take if you test positive. The only thing that will happen as a result of testing, is government closing the schools. If you think you have covid stay home and inform the school. Let them decide whether or not to close and not our messed up government.

There is NO DATA that the virus is spread among school age children, in fact, there is not even ONE case of an adult dying from virus contracted from a child. Children have in-born natural immunity and anti-bodies, therefore, even those children that become infected (from adults) get it very mildly and are often asymptomatic. They NEVER re-transmit the low viral load they became infected with!! There are the FACTS! So what can we do? Askonim need to file an injunction in court claiming that school closing is arbitrary and discriminatory under Human Rights based on age!!! They also need… Read more »

Believed in the mayor and governor- more testing, more proof of no cases and schools will stay opened. Well here’s your proof folks- in any case tests or no tests he does what he decides! (So glad I didn’t get tested #notesting)

Where are you getting this Info from?
November 14, 2020 7:13 pm

I read many articles about this possible school closure as well as listened to the mayor talking about it on his radio show. nowhere does it say anything about private schools. This is between the mayor and the teachers union. And it looks like Cuomo is getting involved to stop the closure. where did col get the information about the possible closure of private schools?

I believe the correct facts are....
November 14, 2020 7:48 pm

I believe that correct information is that the mayor can close the public schools, but not the private schools. That would be our dear friend, Governor Cuomo, who hasn’t yet said that he will close them, but who knows?

The numbers of positive tests are dropping by more than half as of 11/12/20 compared to two weeks ago… So we are doing great bh! Ignore the percentages that are being used to confuse people into thinking things are getting worse.

Zip code: 11213-
40 of the tests were reported as positive

29 of the tests were reported as positive

22 of the tests were reported as positive

(Compared to 10/31/20:
111 of the tests were reported as positive

70 of the tests were reported as positive

99 of the tests were reported as positive)
