A remarkable act of chessed is taking place today, as a devoted Shliach prepares to give the ultimate gift of life at a hospital in Arizona.
Rabbi Yaakov Cahnman, Shliach of the Rebbe and Director of Chabad of Rural Arizona, is scheduled to donate a kidney today at the Mayo Clinic in Desert Ridge. His selfless decision reflects the profound power of mesirus nefesh and the unwavering commitment of a Yid to help another in need.
For Tehillim, the donor’s name is: Yaakov Menachem ben Tzeitel Chana
The recipient’s name is: Tuvia Dovid ben Tova
This transplant is one of four taking place today, all facilitated by Renewal, an organization renowned within the Jewish community for arranging kidney transplants and guiding both donors and recipients through the complex medical process. Their tireless work continues to save lives and bring hope to families around the world.
As Rabbi Cahnman undergoes this procedure, Anash and the wider community are encouraged to add in heartfelt tefillah for the hatzlacha of the surgery and for a refuah shleimah u’meheirah for both the donor and the recipient.

Wow! BEYOND WORDS!
B”H
Your selfless act humbles me. We are all here to do a favor for another. Lets try not to judge anyone in pain. Quite the contrary – see what you can do to help them. In that merit, Hashem will always be there for you.
May it all go smoothly be”H for both of you.
Moshiach now!
