With 4 hours left of Shifra and Puah’s campaign – it’s amazing to see the broad support the wh have received the Crown Heights community, with over 2500 donors. But to meet the annual budget, the organization needs $770,000, and we are currently more than $300,000 short.
The directors of the organization issued an emergency call from the bottom of their hearts:
We are working hard for you, but the annual budget will allow us to continue our activities with all the mothers in our neighborhood, and it really warms the heart to see more than 2500 donors who support us. There is great sympathy, and we hear it from everyone, everywhere.
But sympathy alone does not sustain an organization, and the amount we raised will not be enough to serve all the mothers in the coming year!
The directors would like to share an important figure: We don’t have big donors. You, the dear residents of the neighborhood, who donate $770, or even $180 – you are the ones who keep the organization going!
We ask each and every one: please, raise a nice donation. On the Rambam’s Yom Hilulah, this is a date capable of making a good decision for tzedakah, according to our ability, and even above our ability! And even if you have already donated, please make an extra effort and double your donation, and hashem will multiply his bracha for you!
