CGI Detroit Announces Girl’s Camps Head Staff

The summer affords a unique opportunity for kids to be able to experience yiddishkeit and chassidishkeit in a fun and relaxing setting. The Rebbe often spoke about this and encouraged the camps to make this their primary goal.

This has been the focus of CGI Detroit ever since its founding decades ago – to ensure that a child comes home from camp eager to utilize the energy he has gained from the summer in the service of Hashem throughout the year. From the directors to the counselors, every staff member is committed to making the summer an enjoyable and inspiring experience for their campers.

The Head counselors for the camp’s first session/teen program will be:

Musya Deren – Cape Town, South Africa
Yocheved Brook – Coral Springs, FL
Shternie Shemtov, Stamford, CT

The Head Counselors for the second session will be:

Mussi Azimov – North Brunswick, NJ
Mussie Shemtov – Stamford, CT

The dates for each session of the girl’s camps are as follows:

First session.
Wednesday, June 28 (9 Tammuz) – Monday, July 24 (6 Av)

Second session.
Tuesday, July 25 (7 Av) – Tuesday, August 22 (5 Elul)

The dates for each session of the boy’s camps are as follows:

Session 1
Tuesday, June 27 (8 Tammuz) – Monday, July 24 (6 Av)

Session 2
Monday, July 24 (6 Av) – Monday, Aug. 21 (4 Av)

The directors hope to announce the Head Staff for the boy’s camps in the near future.

Parents are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible. Registration for the girls camp will be open until this Sunday evening – 15 January (22 Teves).
