Seminary Journeys Chabad History

After a successful year, the Seminary Bais Chanah in Dnepropetrovsk Ukraine took an unforgettable tour through Lubavitch history. They journeyed to the cities where our Rebbeim lived and to their kvorim; thus concluding a visit to all our Rebbeim, starting from the Ba’al Shem Tov, through a special visit to the Ohel.

Under the leadership of Rabbi Shmuel Kaminetsky, seminary Beis Chanah started this past year a special program for girls in Shanah Beis under the direction of Rabbi Moshe Weber. It is a seminary of academic excellence and high standards of learning, in a Chasidishe environment. With many opportunities for hands on Shlichus, students arrange various programs and activities for the thriving Jewish community of Dnepropetrovsk in particular and the entire Ukraine in general.

Encouraged by an outstanding year, in which the girls both gained enormously and added a huge amount to the community, the seminary will be accepting bez”h an additional 5 students.

The seminary will be moving to the new state of the art Menorah facility. Students will join the active Jewish community of Dnepropetrovsk, and will frequently be visiting numerous Shluchim throughout the Soviet Union.
