For the 11th time, Russia’s Chief Rabbi Berel Lazar has flown to New York with members of the Jewish community in Moscow to spend this past Shabbos Selichos at the Rebbe’s Ohel.
The group trip was organized by Shliach Rabbi Mordechai Weisberg of Moscow with the help of R’ Shneur Halperin, R’ Yisroel Rozmerin and R’ Elimelech Weisberg.
Over Shabbos, the group davened together and led hours-long chassidic farbrengens in preparation for the new Jewish year.
On Motzoei Shabbos, they enjoyed a Melave Malka at the home of R’ Moshe Rubashkin in Crown Heights and then continued to the Rebbe’s house on President Street for midnight Selichos.
Over the next few days, the group continued with a tour in Boston and other tourist locations before returning to Russia.
Wow it looks like you really had a tight schedule the main thing is you had a good time in New York and that’s the most important thing and there’s only one man that knows how to do the job at that is Rabbi Berl Lazer you are the man keep up the good work
