May you have much hatzlacha in creating a beautiful bais Chabad within this lovely Federal-era building. I hope you will respect its’ provenance by preserving at least some of those antique features as you adapt it for Chabad. Thinks such as random-width floorboards, wooden ceiling beams, woodwork, fireplaces etc….
Not only will this please the locals, but it will also make ME, an amateur historian Lubavitcher, very very happy;)
