Selach Lonu - Bittul Torah

Some insight on the matter of Selach Lonu and Bittul Torah, can be found in section 14 of sefer “Takonas Hashovin” (R. Zadok of Lublin)

I asked a humble Chabad Scholar and he privately responded to me:

Selach Lonu is connected to the previous broacha of Hashiveinu Ovinu L’Sora’secha.

Both brochas are the only brochas that use the specific term of “Avinu” , because Chazal require a Father to teach his son Torah.

Hashiveinu Avinu L’Sora’secha is followed by Selach lonu Avinu for the bittul Torah.

Is this scholar in Crown Heights? I have a few questions I would like to ask, questions that I asked many people over the years and never got satisfactory answers (like, I was never given a satisfactory source that Maftir Yona is a segula for richness).

Beautiful!!

The Rebbe addresses this in his Reshimos on Tanya. It’s more elaborate and explained in the Tanya Chasidus Mevueres.

I have no access to Reshimos on Tanya. Can you please post link if available or share brief synopsis of explanation.
