Rabbi Yonah Leibush Backman, a father and grandfather who was a resident of Jerusalem, Israel, passed away.
He was 77.
He is survived by his children, Goldie Polter (Crown Heights), Tzvi Backman (Somerville, MA), Ester Backman (Crown Heights), Shmuel Rachamim Backman (Beer Sheva, Israel).
He is also survived by his brothers Avraham Yitzchok Backman (Albany, NY) and Sholom Backman (Crown Heights).
He was predeceased by his brother Shlomo Binyomin Backman obm.
