A capacity crowd of over 200 people from all walks of life joined an evening of unity and inspiration at Chabad Zichron Kedoshim in Montreal, Canada, celebrating Yud Tes Kislev, the Rosh Hashana of Chassidus, on Monday night.
The evening was expertly guided by Master of Ceremonies Leonard Lewkowict, who set a welcoming tone for the gathering. As guests enjoyed a lavish full-course meal, the program began with powerful, brief remarks from Shliach Rabbi Ronnie Fine, followed by words of inspiration from Shliach Rabbi Mendel Fine. Young Moshe Fine led the crowd in reciting Tehillim.
Elevating the atmosphere from a dinner to a spiritual experience, Chazon Moshe Shor filled the hall with beautiful, heartfelt Nigunim . The soulful music stirred the crowd, creating the perfect backdrop for the main event.
Following the main course, the room fell silent as world-renowned speaker Rabbi Manis Friedman took the stage. Known for his wit and wisdom, Rabbi Friedman delivered a deeply insightful talk regarding our personal relationship with G-d, captivating the diverse audience with his unique perspective on faith and connection.
The energy did not dissipate after the speech. As beautiful desserts were served, the formal event transitioned into a spirited Farbrengen. The gathering continued well into the night, with song, discussion, and camaraderie lasting until 1:30 AM.
