A grand celebration of Yud Tes Kislev was held at the Cirque Phénix venue in Paris, drawing an impressive crowd of approximately 5,500 participants. Among those attending were students of the Brunoy Yeshiva, Beis Rivkah Seminary girls, community members, mekuravim, Anash, and Shluchim from Paris and surrounding regions.
Distinguished Rabbonim and public figures were in attendance, including the Chief Rabbi of Paris Rabbi Michel Gugenheim, former Member of Parliament Meyer Habib, and other notable personalities. The event was led by the Rebbe’s Shliach to Paris and the northern region, Rabbi Mendel Azimov.
The evening was emceed by Rabbi Mendel Lashkar and featured live music by the Yosef Barami Orchestra, with performances by popular singers Mendy Gabbay and Shmuel. Guest of honor was Rabbi Binyamin Bitton of Vancouver, Canada.
During the program, a new educational initiative was introduced, encouraged by Rabbi Shmuel Lubecki: organizing groups to visit the Rebbe’s home. A large book fair also took place, headlined by the newly released children’s Tanya-based book, “Lessons for Life on Tanya by Tzivos Hashem.”
Guests enjoyed refreshments and sandwiches, and dozens of buses arrived from across the greater Paris area to make it possible for many to take part in the celebration.
