Former Chief Sephardic Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu collapsed at his Jerusalem home on Monday afternoon.
A United Hatzala ambulance transported Eliyahu to Sha’arei Tzedek Hospital.
His condition remains unclear as of yet.
According to reports, the rabbi, who has a history of heart attacks, was unconscious when the rescue services arrived.
