Lubavitcher Yeshiva Academy (LYA) Students, faculty and administration celebrated a very special birthday for their dear, respected dean, Rabbi Dovid Edelman.
On Tuesday, Hey Teves, the Head Shliach of the Rebbe in Western Massachusetts celebrated his 85th birthday.
In preparation of this special occasion, the students and staff at LYA prepared a mitzvah album which was presented to Rabbi Edelman.
All the students and staff gathered together in the school’s cafeteria and wished Rabbi Edelman blessings for the upcoming year.
They presented the album to him, sang a song in his honor and enjoyed a special treat of cupcakes in celebration of his birthday.
In the album, staff and students recorded resolutions of mitzvot that they were going to perform as a birthday present to Rabbi Edelman.
Many students expressed their appreciation to their dean, Rabbi Edelman and noted how much they enjoy the stories, the words of Torah and inspiration that Rabbi Edelman shares with them.
The blessed him with many more years of good health, happiness, nachas from his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and from all his students.
And that he continue to lead the school and the Chabad institutions in Western MA for many more years.
