He learnt in Tomchei Temimim and got arrested back in the day. A very special Jew. A Baal Mesiras Nefesh.
There is so much more about him to write.
Wish someone would write and stare all his stories
He was a special Chossid of the Previous Chabad Rebbe and had a special connection with Reb Levik the Father of our Rebbe, he had great self Sacrifice in Russia etc
In his teens in Russia, he drove around on Shabbos warning Chassidim of their impending arrests and hid them and their families. Witnessed horrific tortures by the Stalinists yet persisted in his efforts until he made it to Australia, where he led a quiet and low key life. Didn’t discuss his heroism during his youth but for the few times he was convinced to Farbreng in YG on 12/13 Tammuz, the FR’s days that he held close to his heart.
