The family of the beloved Shliach Rabbi Aaron Lazer Ceitlin is asking the public to have him in their prayers for a full and speedy recovery.
Rabbi Ceitlin, one of the Shluchim the Rebbe personally sent to Israel, has been battling a malignant type of sarcoma cancer since before Pesach 5775. He has been receiving treatment in New York City.
In the last week, his medical condition has deteriorated.
The family asked the public to say Tehillim for Aaron Eliezer ben Rivkah and increase in joy and unity over Simchas Torah which will “break the barriers,” as the sages say.
Rabbi Ceitlin has been traveling around the world and motivating young and old in Chassidic farbrengen gatherings and personal discussions. He is the founder and director of the Chabad Kindergarten Network in Tzfas which 34 branches educating some 1,500 children.
