Reb Yisroel Meir Brill, a Chabad chossid and beloved husband and father from Passaic, NJ, passed away on Shabbos, 28 Nissan, 5781.
He was 70.
Mr. Brill worked as a cook at Hadar Torah Yeshiva in Crown Heights for many years and as a cook for the Yeshiva Gedola of Passaic for over 34 years.
He is survived by his children, Shmuel Brill, Fraidel Greenfeld, Chanie Rosenfeld and Minka Brill.
He was predeceased by his wife Itka Chaya Brill obm.
The Levaya will take place on Sunday, April 11th, at King Solomon in Clifton, NJ.

· Monday through Thursday 9:00amto 12:00 and 1:00pm until 8:00pm
· Friday 9:00am until 5:00pm
Fraidel will be sitting shiva at 209 Boulevard om Sunday night until Monday night.
Chanie Rosenfeld and Minka Brill will be sitting shiva at 209 Boulevard all week.

Very sad to hear. When I was a bachur in 770, Yisrael Meir would come to hang around and speak to the bachurim. I had some very nice conversations with him back then. A sweet, ehrlicher guy. May the family take comfort.

BDE. I remember Reb Yisroel as a core member of the Shabbos minyan that started in my basement in Passaic,NJ.
He was a dedicated Chassid and was our quiet mashpia while I was more extroverted in my Hashpaah. Hamacom yenachem eschem besoch shaar avlei tziyon beyerushalayim.
He was a neighbor of ours when we lived in Passaic. So sad to hear the news. May his family be conforted with all the mourners in Yerushalayim and Zion
