Rabbi Elchana Dov Morozov (1878-1938) served as the secretary of the 5th and 6th Lubavitcher Rebbes and ran the underground Chabad educational network in Soviet Russia.
He was arrested in 1927 with the Frierdiker Rebbe, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Schneersohn and sentenced for 3 years in prison. Upon being released he continued his communal work under constant threat. In 1938 he and his son Shmuel were reported to be executed.
