“President of Russia, Mr. Vladimir Putin spent more than four hours at the Jewish Tolerance Museum in the Marina Roscha neighborhood of Moscow, commemorating International Holocaust Remembrance Day. Although the original date was last Shabbos, he postponed it in order not to cause desecration of Shabbos.”

Not bad especially for someone, the world loves to hate.

touching and necessary. it’s important to remind the world just why we yidden feel so uneasy in our adopted homes – wherever in the world that happens to be; also, that we feel a genuine hakoras hatov when it is warranted.
as an aside, i wish the atmosphere at holocaust events such as this one was more people-oriented and less politics -oriented but i guess that’s unavoidable.
