Destroyed thriving functional Jewish communities in Ukraine.

Sent shluchim in Ukraine fleeing for their lives.

People in Ukraine huddled in the freezing cold without heat because this murderer cut off their power.

He bombs schools. Apartment buildings. Hospitals.

Shame. SHAME! SHAME!!

The facts you speak of are sadly true. The facts of his record of friendship towards the Jews are also true. He will be judged for all. In analyzing the situation, there is no way not to take consonance of the fact that, notwithstanding Ukraine’s election of a Jewish president, it was Ukrainians who were by and large the Germans’ main implementators of the Holocaust, in the death camps and in the killing fields, and Russians the Jewish People’s liberators; no way not to acknowledge that the farther one moves west to east in Ukraine, from Ukrainian ethnicity, language and… Read more »

Your comment is like quoted from Soviet propaganda books, has very little to do with reality and history. Also it shows total lack of knowledge of a situation in the field. The fact is that during the post-Soviet years, Ukraine had the most successful, strong, dynamic, thriving communities. Where no single rabbi was expelled, deported, or scared to say something non-complementary to the government.

Are you EXCUSING Putin’s mass murder of Ukrainians NOW because of their history during WWII? By that logic every European country should be razed to the ground. If Ukrainians want to join Russia that would be THEIR choice. They have already overwhelmingly rejected the invitation to become serfs of Putin. It’s unbelievable that people are so ready to excuse mass murder and war crimes because of some good he might have done for the… Read more »
