Live: Leadership Training Event for Teens

There is a story which tells of a chassid who made the long journey to visit the Alter Rebbe. Upon entering yechidus, he began to bemoan his many troubles. His business had taken a downturn, creditors were hounding him, his children were sick.

“Rebbe, I need help!” He cried out.

“You speak a lot about what you need,” the Alter Rebbe replied. “But what about what you are needed for?”

Here at Linkks, our mission is to ask that very question: “What am I needed for?”

We believe that if you can recognize a need, you aren’t too young or inexperienced to be needed.

Our program is geared towards girls from 6th-12th grade with an idea for how they can make a difference to others. Linkks is here to provide the leadership training, mentorship, and funding to make those projects into a reality. We provide resources, YOU provide the vision, creativity and innovation.

Rabbi Manis Friedman, Mrs. Shternie Wolff, and singer Jeryko will be speaking about the why, what and how of true leadership. The program will be live on Zoom, Youtube, and Facebook live, from 7-8 pm EST on June 4th.

Become a leader:
Girls from 6th-12th grade are invited to submit an idea for a volunteer project. The top eight candidates will be chosen to be trained and funded by the program. Submissions will be evaluated based on practicality, originality and impact. All submissions, whether or not they are chosen, will be entered into a raffle for a pair of airpods pro.

Become a mentor:
If you are in 9th-12th grade, you could be eligible to join our mentorship team! Mentors will get leadership training, funding, and support resources.
All mentors who apply will also be entered into the airpods raffle.
