Some of you guys have gone of the deep end. Embrace the place that Chabad has achieved in the world. I laughed when I saw this, and had a big smile across my face. My teenagers, who have many non-Lubavitch, yet frum, friends, smiled as well because they know what they are really connected to. We all know how Chabad has become very mainstream across all walks of life. There are many instances of inference regarding the Rebbe in other TV shows and movies.
Isn’t our purpose to bring holiness to the mundane? well, isn’t it?

Why does every single post on collive.com need to become a disagreement? Isnt the “comment” supposed to be on the post, not on other comments? Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, and whatever you say wont change that!
Many people in Hollywood are connected with Chabad shluchim. So it’s not surprising that they bring a spark of holiness in to what they are writing.

It is a shame that people feel the need to confirm that they recognize the Rebbe. It pops out as soon as I see the cartoon and it kinda looks out of place too, unless that picture is meant to depict a lubavitcher or something(which would be strange).

one of the community members who has become a regular at our chabad house was a camera man at cbs for over 40 years. he was at the hospital with the camera Gimel tamuz nun daled. after we met he told me that he noticed his boss has a large picture of the rebbe in his office.
Recently they used the rebbes name in another show where they are considering names for a baby.
