Although Reb Sholem Ber Raskin’s father – Reb Yaakov Yosef – was a Mohel, he wasn’t maal his own sons as he was not yet a Mohel at the time. Reb Sholem Ber Raskin’s – as well as his brother Reb Dovid Raskin’s – Mohel was their uncle Reb Itche Raskin HY”D.

Mazal tov to the Jacobs and Gorkin families.
Mazel tov Dovid Nissan! Your longstanding family tradition and your great skill will make you the next up and coming Mohel in Lubavitch!

The tradition started

with his great grand father Yakov Yoisef Raskin,
and I agree he is a very good mohel.

May the newborn be a source of nachas to his parents, grandparents and entire family. May he grow up to be a Chossid, Yerei Shomayim and Lamdan, like the great grandfather for whom he was named.

Hatzlacha!
