A Chabad bochur was violently pushed to the ground by another man in Tel Aviv on Friday, apparently while encouraging passersby to lay tefillin.
Footage of the incident circulated on Sunday showed Levi Blau and two other Lubavitch bochurim walking down Allenby Street when the man knocked Blau to the pavement in an apparently unprovoked attack.
Blau told Channel 12 news that he and his companions were walking to the corner of Allenby and Ben Yehuda Street to do Mivtza Tefillin when he was attacked by a stranger.
“I never met him,” he said. “I was on the floor for two minutes, completely shocked,” he added.
Blau said that authorities were investigating the incident after he submitted a complaint to the police on Sunday.
The Bocher literally walked into him
The man who was looking LITERALLY pushed him to the floor
And if he was a normal person he would walk to the side
He literally walked into the bochur with clear malicious intent. The bochur should have been looking but he aimed and attacked maliciously
Not true!
This rasha deliberately walked into the bocher!
If you watch what is going on the middle buchor has his head done in his phone. The man opposite him was trying to maneuver around the 3 boys who were taking up the entire side walk. The time he looks up he is right on a collission course with that man. Hey take your head out of the phone and pay attention to your surroundings.
The bachur has no phone he was fixing his hat looking down as the guy walked towards him aggressively and shoved him .
He was either mad at someone, anti religious or Simply disturbed.
Please don’t blame the victim.
Furthermore even if he was on a phone this doesn’t warrant such a reaction.
you clearly see the guy going and pushing him with BOTH HANDS!!
Just look on the pass of this man. He was able to make one step to the left and walk between the second and third bochur. But its obvious that he made a step to the right intentionally and pushed that hard him to harm.
The bochur wasn’t paying attention. The perpetrator was. He wasn’t trying to avoid anyone. He wanted to attack the bochur and did so.
It doesn’t look like he interacted with the man who violently shoved him. Rather looks like he wasn’t looking where he was walking. Either way he shouldn’t have have been shoved or hurt.
Arab?
what are jew haters doing in the Holy Land
Is it an angry liberal leftist jew
Terrible!
A Kapara on tha Rasha!
To the person who made the comment that the bochur wasn’t looking where he was going, take a closer look, you will notice that there is space between the 2 bochurim, However This guy made a direct hit on the bochur
He looks at him and turns towards him instead of going between the 2 boys he looks up ,turns slightly , and goes directly into his face
Why over and over again do we see these thugs who attack jews and don’t take instant revenge by chasing him down and beat him to a pulp?!? They are becoming emboldened to attack us because we are developing a reputation that we are sitting ducks! Learn from Shimon and Levi who wiped out a whole city in revenge and the goyim became afraid to mess with a jew!
If every time a thug attacks a jew he risks becoming a head shorter they will get the message and our fear and terror will befall all the nations!!!
The only problem is that the thug is also a Jew…
We need to always make a kiddish Hashem and how it looks is The boys were taking over the sidewalk and were not even aware of people coming. Please don’t make headlines to incite.
Wrong
The bochur should check his tefillin.

Always important to be aware of our
surrounding, and READY to defend our self by neutralizing the perpetrators
Total Self Defense , plus it will clearly deter others.
ENOUGH
The opinion that the bachurim “should not take up the sidewalk” is obscene. You think three people never walk together in Tel Aviv? Imagine three people walking towards this man, no matter who they are, you think he’d knock them over too? Let’s say the bochur who got knocked over spaced out for a second or didn’t focus on what/who was in front of him. He should get knocked over for that reason? Should a 40 year old secular Israeli man/woman be knocked over for spacing out for a second too? Stop blaming the victim!!! Especially when the victim is… Read more »
‘Outrage’ is sweet but is anyone doing anything about this??
