Ohel Chana Werdiger Learning Institute is a world renowned Chabad-Lubavitch tertiary-level learning institute. Ohel Chana was established in 1971 at the direct initiative of the Lubavitcher Rebbe in the name of his mother, Rebbetzin Chana OBM.
The Rebbe took a personal interest in the development of Ohel Chana and the progress of its students by enquiring regularly after their welfare and asking for regular reports to be sent to him. Since then, Ohel Chana has remained proudly dedicated to the continuation of the Chassidishe legacy of its founder.
Ohel Chana is dedicated to nurturing chassidishe young women who are committed to growing as serious learners, leaders, shluchos, and dugma chayas. Our program provides a warm, structured, and academically rigorous environment that deepens students’ Jewish and Lubavitch identity, strengthens their connection to the Rebbe, and empowers them to make a meaningful impact on the world around them.
While at Ohel Chana, students balance a busy schedule of full days of learning, Shlichus programming with local students, co-curricular activities and initiatives and celebrations of Yoma D’Pagra. At this moment, the Ohel Chana students are in Camp Gan Yisroel working with the local Australian girls giving them a memorable and inspirational overnight-camp experience.
To provide some financial assistance, we are also pleased to offer two significant funding opportunities for the coming year:
Ohel Chana Scholarship for Excellence – awarded to students who demonstrate outstanding achievement and commitment.
TTI Study Abroad Program – providing a partnered learning pathway that offers both enrichment and financial support.
