people should not drive texting and not wearing seat belts
They always wait by the corner of Brooklyn and empire.almost every day.
Get off the phone while you are driving! Its ridicules!
Police are giving tickets to anyone using their cell phone and not wearing a seat belt anywhere!!!!!!!!
Warning: Also in other cities and states!
They should be!
They are looking just to give tickets, not for safety, they need certain amount of tickets a month not to get repremanded and the Jewish community is perfect, because nobody is going to throw water at them or insult them, try this near by and is not going to be easy for the cops. In other neighborhood, doesn’t happen.
To get one over the nice guys. The problem is not the tickets, but the fact that there is such a great divide between their ticketing policies in the surrounding areas. When my registration renewal came three days late and I received a ticket on Union st and Kingston first thing the first morning, I parked my car between Utica and Rochester for the next two days knowing that I probably wouldn’t see another ticket, and I didn’t. going after car jacking and other anti semitic assaults? We have much bigger problems that need to be dealt with
The mayor needs more money because he banned styrofoam coffee cups which were cheaper than regular cups.
And have you seen fare evasion on Kingston Subway? I see it multiple times every day I use the train. That’s where it all starts. Looks like the police prefer to earn their living ticketing Jews instead. They don’t fear for their lives working with us, yet the acknowledgement is somehow missing, I don’t think there’s ever been a sense of recognition of this small oasis in the wilderness of crime and aggressive hostility.
What bigger problem is there than saving your life and all people around you!!?
They are also always on the corner of president and Albany pulling ppl over like crazy
In the 70’s, one of the public service messages
was about a policeman finding you driving with
faulty brakes.
Something like this:
“If a policeman catches you driving
like that, you’re in trouble! You can
get a fine, points off your license, car
impounded, etc.
And if you don’t get caught, YOU ARE IN
EVEN WORSE TROUBLE! Because you are driving
on borrowed time.”
Anybody who drives whilst on their phone and not wearing a seatbelt deserves to be ticketed. Keep the rest of us safe!!!!
