This year’s first Siyum Maseches in the world to mark the “9 days” took place Thursday evening at the Chabad Shtieble on Flood Street in Bondi, NSW, Australia followed by refreshments and l’chaim.
The Siyum was made by the Shliach Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Feldman, son of the Rebbe’s head shliach Rabbi Pinchus Feldman.
As per the Rebbe’s directive, every night during the nine days, and continuing until the 15th of Av, a Siyum will be held in the Shul.
As the Rebbe requested, men, women, and children participated.
Aside from enjoying the refreshments, fish, drinks and l’chaim, everyone participated in the three pillars of Torah, Tefilah and Tzedokoh.
The organizers remarked that those that can contribute to the expense of the evenings will have a great zechus and will be appreciated.
